- M

This weekend has been the most painful and worst weekend of my whole life. On the morning of August 9, 2020, I received word that my mom, Colita Parker had passed away due to coronavirus pneumonia. My heart, and being, ache in a way I cannot describe. My siblings and I saw and spoke to mom on Tuesday. On Wednesday I was contacted by the memory care facility that mom had tested positive for COVID-19. Due to moms history of smoking and having had COPD she was highly susceptible, and rapidly fell victim to COVID pneumonia.
There will be a memorial service, live-streamed, on Monday, August 17, 2020, at 12pm EST, at Divine Mortuary Services in Lithonia, Georgia.
Please stay tuned for more information, later to follow, in regards to live-streaming the event, as we are limited to only a 50 physical capacity.
Also, many may know, however, I do want to share and ask for additional prayers and shares for my husband, Dave, and his family, as they are mourning the loss of his Dad, Alan Wienecke, who passed on August 8,2020 in Waco, TX. This has been a truly difficult weekend for he and I.
Any and all donations will be used for additional cost and travel cost for family members getting to Georgia from various states.
If you are not able to donate, please share within your community.
At this time Jamal, A’Zeree, and myself will be taking calls intermittently, so please bear with us during this time of heavy grief and loss, as we all process and take the time we need to get through this hard time.
We love you all and thank you for your support.
Love, light, blessings, and peace to you all!
