Justice For Deonta Jackson

Please help me raise money for my husband Deonte Jackson. He has been fighting this case for 4 long years with a very amazing public defender but as most of us know, the system is highly flawed. We desperately need a lawyer because we want to continue to fight this with all that we've got. Which we plan to do. Good legal representation is not something many of us have on hand. Unfortunately for my husband Deonta, this boils down to taking a plea deal for something he did not do or facing max sentencing. He will not be taking the plea deal. My husband Deonta is innocent. We are going to trial. So far our families have been backing him and very supportive, but we need a lawyer and we need help raising the money for what we simply cannot afford. This fundraiser would help prove his innocence, keep our loving family together, and to be truthful, it would free my family of a burden that plagues so many young black men. We don't want our very loved Deonta to be sentenced and locked away for something he did not do. Which is what they are carelessly trying to do. We just want this nightmare to end.
