Family & Friends, For those of you who do not know, Brad Heffner was diagnosed with non- Hodgkin’s Lymphoma less than 2 months ago. Brad received his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University in 2018. He has been pursuing his dream of becoming a Physician’s Assistant, attending Ohio Dominican University. Brad is just one of those people meant to heal and care for others. He’s selfless, caring, and doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. Within a short amount of time, Brad went from studying for hours for his PA School final exams to being hospitalized to receive chemotherapy treatment every 12 hours. For the time being, Brad has had to put his education on hold to prioritize and focus on his own health. He was thrown a curveball that nobody could see coming. We decided to set up this GoFundMe so the friends and family members of the Heffner family can donate towards supporting Brad & his family with whatever they may need. He is currently receiving treatments at a hospital about a half hour away from their home in Sterling Heights, Michigan. We are looking to raise money to go towards transportation to and from the hospital, daily meals, and any extra medical expenses/needs not covered by insurance. Before Brad can go back to taking care of others, we’d like to provide as much assistance and support to him and his family as we can.
