My husband of almost 23 years, Rusty Cunningham, was an amazing front of house audio engineer Then, neuropathy set in on his feet. Despite difficulty with walking and standing, he continued to try and work but it became impossible as of September 2015. Blisters had developed on his left heel from which he would never recover. It was determined that he had blockages in the artery of his left leg, that blood was not getting to his foot and by-pass surgery was imperative or he could lose his foot or leg. It was complicated and unusual. The first surgery was March 29th...and, not one surgery, but two, lasting a total of nine hours due to complications. Rusty was also put on Coumadin (Warfarin) - a blood thinner. After further complications and another surgery, he is now back in the hospital yet again due to a massive infection and the medical costs have become totally impossible to pay, along with our household bills. I am older than him and now on social security. A dear friend, Stan Moress wanted to start this account and reached out to me. I don't know what we would do without Stan and his kind offer. I have never asked anyone for anything before, but now we desperately need help. Rusty and I thank each and every one of you for caring so much at this disastrous time in our lives, so that we can pay the bills, keep our home, plus we have two rescue dogs, ages 15 and 7 that are our only children.
