Hi everyone. I am writing on behalf of my 6 month old puppy named Moo. She is a French Bulldog that I adopted approximately 2 months ago. Moo was born deaf and functions differently than the average pup. Despite her lack of hearing, she is a very loving and energetic pup. Recently I took her to see the vet to get her vaccines updated when they discovered a very serious heart murmur. They recommended that I see a cardiologist as soon as possible to see what was causing this. After taking her to the cardiologist, they have diagnosed her with pulmonic stenosis. This is when there is narrowing at the pulmonic valve of the heart. Without treatment, her life expected is only 1-2 years of age. Although, there is a surgery she can get that can prolong her lifespan if successful. The cost of this surgery has been quoted by the cardiologist to be $5,000. I am a university student and this surgery on top of the costs associated with having a new puppy are financially draining considering I have only had her for a short amount of time. I am determined to help Moo live a happy and healthy for as long as possible. Any donation you can make, it would be immensely appreciated to financially support Moo’s road to a healthy heart. The surgery is scheduled 2 months from now. Any donation made that happens to leave us above our goal will be donated to another animal in need. Thank you for taking the time to read her story ♥️
