Life has a funny way of blessing you with things and people that you NEED, rather than what you want. I truly believe, that when my Oldest daughter was born, it was to save me from heading down a very destructive path. The moment I held her in my arms, I knew what I had to do, as her protector, provider, and as her MOTHER. 11 years later, I have a beautiful, talented, and ambitious young lady running around, by the name of NALIA JOANNA ALEXIS FAATAUI. This young lady is not only a great scholar, and fierce volleyball player, but she is a big help around the house. With me at work, and her dad undergoing dialysis treatments 4 days a week, she makes sure everyday after school, when she arrives home, the house is clean, and her little sisters are fed. Her passion is volleyball, she's played it since she was in the third grade, and every year she progresses, not only as an athlete, but as a team player. Last year she joined a club volleyball team called Frisco Bay, for the first time, and she loved every minute of it. With Nalia joining club, at first, I thought it was a bit pricey, but then I started to watch As Nalia pushed herself through the season. Long and tough practices, long days of endless tournaments, the traveling, and on top of all that, she maintains an A/B average in school. Never once does she complain, nor gives up. She continues to push through it again for the second year, and this time , her team was able to get a bid, and play at the Junior Olympics in Indianapolis! This is a great milestone for Her, and an even greater opportunity for her to experience J.O.s. Although we are all excited and happy for our babies, it also takes a financial toll on a middle class family like mines lol. This is a week long tournament, Airfare, hotel stay, and just to get by, is going to be tough. So I'm reaching out to all of you for help. Please help us make this a great experience for her, because no one deserves this, more than this amazing young lady. We would love to escort our baby girl to Indianapolis, and watch her play, one of the most important games of her young life. We are asking for you guys to please help our family meet our goal, No amount is too big, or too small. Thank you all in advance, and may GoD bless you all! #TeamNalia #11 Position: Middle Block
