COOPER SMITHS RECOVERY
Donation protected
On Saturday, April 16, 2016, Cooper Smith, Son of Jesse and Kelly Smith and Brother to Cole and Brayden Smith of Niton Junction, Alberta was in a serious accident doing what he loved, dirt biking. Although he was wearing all his safety equipment, heltmet, neck guard, chest protector, ect, he was knocked unconcious for a few days and suffered a brain injury.
The first part of his recovery was at the Stollery, and now needs to stay in the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital in Edmonton for extensive rehabilitation for as long as 3 months.
With Mom and Dad by his side, and the support of his family, he is expected to make a full recovery, but this has taken them away from their every day life and jobs.
So what we need to do as friends and family, is band together and help the Smiths out, financial strain is the last stress they need at this time. As we all know the price of travelling, meals, and every day life adds up in a hurry. Any help will be deeply appreciated by the Smith Family. Thank you very much for your support in this difficult time.
