Hello,
We are the UCI Men's Lacrosse team and we would like to ask for support from our friends and family to help us continue to improve our program.  We are a young and diverse group of men who represent the UCI lacrosse team.  Every member of this program plays lacrosse, because we all love and respect this game that has been played for many decades. We experienced the most successful season in UCI history, last year, and would love to keep this momentum going into next season.  Last year we took our first road trip in the history of the program and played three games in Northern California against San Jose State, USF, and UCSC.  This year we would like to travel to Arizona during spring break to experience some new competition in a different part of the country and create new relationships with new teams.  Since we are a club team, everything we would like to do must be paid for out of our own pockets.  Each player on the team is responsible for monthly dues to make sure the program is allowed to compete in all of our games and is eligible to make the playoffs, but our individual contribution is not enough for us to become a successful team in our conference.  Lacrosse is a very expensive sport and is very difficult for all of our teammates to pay for everything out of pocket, since we have many other college expenses to pay for.  To help us be a more successful program, we would like to raise at least $2000 so we can rent vans for our road trips, instead of driving personal vehicles, rent a hotel for the spring break trip, and schedule another 16 game season. Any help is much appreciated and will contribute to an even more successful season than last year.
