Bertie County Tornado Relief Fund

In the early morning hours of August 4, 2020, a tornado tore through the Morning Road area of Bertie County, NC (affectionately known as the NEC). The tornado destroyed multiple properties and most people were left with nothing. My heart is broken by this devastating tragedy and I would like to financially assist those families with starting over. This is the place where I grew up and I want to actively help restore the land and the community. I am raising money to give directly to the families who lost their homes and need help securing lodging, food, appliances, clearing the lots, and even securing new homes. It would be much appreciated if you would consider donating to assist my hometown.
