Marci’s Medical Expense

I was overwhelmed by the plethora of responses and heartfelt comments that I received about my declining health. I had lost the will to live and I was so ready to just die. But in my recent near death experience when I went to heaven I promised the savior that I would write my second book. And now I feel like I need to be here a while longer to publish it. I prayed for a miracle if God wanted me to stay to publish it and my wonderful sister n law contacted me and told me she didn’t want me to be alone anymore and that she and my amazing brother Jeremy could possibly fly me to Utah for 3 days to see my beautiful neice get married Aug 20. I can stay with family and be able to see close friends and relatives who are so dear to me and who have text me and called me crying that I just wanted to die. After I got Jeremy’s call and he offered to help me I am giving it one more fight to know I tried everything to beat this incurable disease. God told me in a blessing i just had if I have surgery I will be cured. So I need another miracle. I have had 14 abdominal surgeries including my last surgery an appendectomy that’s severed my vagus nerve paralyzing my G.I. tract. I now have a motility disorder called gastroparesis where I have excessive vomiting and nausea and Im unable to keep anything down. I have suffered with this motility disorder for six long months. I have been unable to work and even care for myself at this point. I have to make constant weekly visits to the ER for severe dehydration and malnutrition. My weekly visits are now turning into hospital stays for kidney injuries for severe dehydration. On my last hospital stay a week ago the doctor told me that I would need a feeding tube or that I could possibly die without one because of malnutrition. There are some few things a person can do and God knows I can’t live like this. I prayed and prayed and felt as said in my blessing that if I received surgery then I would be healed. When I was in the hospital the doctor told me about a surgery that could be done to help my terrible painful symptoms of nausea and vomiting. It’s called gastric electrical stimulation. It is a device that is surgically implanted into the abdomen to deliver electrical pulses to the nerve and muscles of the lower part of the stomach. This stimulation may reduce chronic nausea and vomiting. I looked online to success of the surgery. A lady posted that she had the surgery done and she has not vomited since. The surgery is excessive and I will not be able to work or even lift anything over 15 pounds for six weeks. I talked to my doctor about the surgery and we are in the process of trying to get my 15 abdominal surgery done as soon as possible. I have had so many wonderful people help me through this excruciating painful disease. But I I need more help. I am unable to work because I am so sick now and getting worse. To make matters worse my car broke down and so I have no transportation to go to the ER I would have to call 911 every week and that’s just not feasible. I tried to walk to the ER to get fluids but I ended up fainting and I went unconscious and almost died with a terrible concussion and heat stroke followed by septic shock. So I can’t walk to the ER to get my fluids. I am so dehydrated when I go to the ER that I have gone into cardiac arrest a few times and the doctor told me if I don’t get fluids I will die. I have no other option than to go to the ER because I’m so dehydrated they have to do an ultrasound to get an IV. The whole process is so painful and sometimes unbearable because they have to dig for a larger vein that won’t blow. So Im continuing this torturous process to live to publish my book and stay a little longer for love ones. But I need financial assistance for money for Lyft rides to the ER. The ER provides me rides home thankfully. I just need Lyft to get me there I haven’t been able to work in 7 months when I had a lumpectomy for a mass removed. It caused one complication after another including hematoma, pulmonary embolism, and appendicitis. I had two surgeries within three weeks time that my surgeon told me it put to much trauma on my body causing my health to decline more. I am also two months behind in my cell phone bill that they have been generous to work with me but they cannot do it much longer without a payment. As well as $ to live. So I need help please.
