A Message from Canton Bulldogs Middle School Football Program:
As a teacher and coach I can't stress how valuable it is for kids to get involved with sports! There are teachable moments and lessons that are learned on field, that translate to invaluable life skills!
Our goal is to raise $12,000 to help keep this self funded school supported football team going! Zero town money is used for the Canton Bulldogs however, players and their parents are asked to provide a user fee of $195. For working families with more than one child, this could make or break them playing for the season.
With a budget this year that exceeds 18k and only 6K coming in from user fees there is a large gap in funds. With the money raised we will be able to purchase equipment, pay for referees, provided scholarships for families who cannot afford the fees, and more!
