Meghan Oneal’s Cancer Fund
Donation protected

For those of you that know Meghan, this is probably as hard for you to read as it was for me to write. For those of you that do not know her, she is one of the most loving and caring individuals I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She pushes you to be a better person without ever pushing you at all. She is the first to give and offer help and the last to ask for it. I have set up this GoFundMe to raise funds to help her pay for her excessive medical expenses that are sadly commonly associated with cancer treatment. All funds will go directly to Meghan and will be applied towards medical payments.
Early July she was feeling a bit off and went to the doctor. Very quickly she was diagnosed with stage 1 cervical cancer and was scheduled for a hysterectomy. After reviewing her PET scan, another separate cancerous mass was found. It is speculated it could be as advanced as stage 4. She is having exploratory surgery Wednesday, August 5th to determine exactly what they are dealing with and she will immediately begin chemotherapy, followed by radiation and then more chemo. I will provide updates as often as they come.
Her fiancé, Jason is currently only receiving a portion of his salary due to covid-19 and has two children to provide for. Meghan is a dental hygienist and her employers insurance unfortunately does not provide disability insurance. Once her chemotherapy beings she will be unable to continue working with a seriously compromised immune system and during a global pandemic.
I understand that we are all currently experiencing hard times due to the pandemic, human rights issues, and political unrest, just to name a few. A donation amount of ANY kind is appreciated more than you could imagine. If you are unable to give, simply sharing this with others that may be able to help IS giving. Thank you for your time and your compassion. Tell the people you love that you love them and tell them often.
