Carjacked Teen Lost His 1st Car

I have set up this GoFundMe to help a hard-working, good kid who lost his car after being the victim of an armed carjacking.  If you follow the news in the bay area, you probably saw the headline story of a chase that ended in a crash and shootout with police.  If not, here's a link:

Because he is a minor, and witness who may be called to testify I am not going to use his name.  He is the nephew of my best friend and an all-around great kid.  He worked last summer slinging fried chicken at KFC to earn the money for his first car.  As a super car-enthusiast, this was a really big deal to get a car.  We are all so greatful he wasn't hurt, but it sad to listen to him talk about the loss of his car.  I'm hoping together we can help him get enough money (paired with what little we expect insurance to provide) to replace it with a reliable used car to get him to school and his after school and summer job.
