A very dear friend of mine recently experienced a terrifying domestic violence incident that resulted in her abuser being arrested. The situation was publicly reported in local news, but to protect her privacy and safety, her name will not be shared here.

They had been living together, and after the arrest, she was forced to leave her home with very little. She is left with no stable place to stay, limited resources, and is trying to rebuild her life from the ground up while coping with trauma no one should ever have to experience.

I’m creating this GoFundMe in hopes of helping her cover emergency housing, basic necessities, transportation , legal/advocacy support, and the costs of starting over somewhere safe.

She is strong, but right now, she needs help and community. If you’re able to donate, share, or send support, it will make a real difference in helping her regain safety, stability, and peace.
