EVEN THE BEST FALL DOWN SOMETIME

On May 10th my co-workers and I received some scary and unsettling news that our coworker Wendi was in the ICU with a life threating infection. It turns out she is suffering from sepsis and all of her vital organs have started to shut down. The doctors have had very little hope for her and believe that even if she happens to pull through her life may be drastically different.

As we all listened in detail to the struggle she is facing I noticed that our office music was playing this song by Howie day and that lyric has been in my heart for her ever since. EVEN THE BEST FALL DOWN SOMTIME.  Just imagine the best possible qualities a person can have and I guarantee you, you will describe Wendi perfectly.

She’s a doting wife to her hard working husband and she puts all her energy, love and time she can into their 3 young kids (4,3,2,) who are their whole world. She takes pride in being a mother and is someone we can all look up to in one way or another.  Kind, giving, sweet, hardworking, loving, crafty, generous, understanding….. it’s just who she is. Just a young lady trying to make the most out of life. With that being said she truly doesn’t deserve this, but like the determined person she is she’s dealing with what’s in front of her and fighting to get back to her family. So we decided it’s time to give back to the person who gives so much to everyone around her.

We are asking for any kind of support that people can give. Whether it be in the form of money or if you can’t do that then by prayers. We all know how stressful money can be.  Our hope is to help her  in her recovery and her family with the many  financial obligations that will come their  way during this difficult time.
