My Mom’s Cancer Fund

On June 18th my mom, Jill Nash, was diagnosed with DCIS (ductal carcinoma in situ). Basically, breast cancer. Her treatments won’t include chemotherapy but she will have to undergo radiation treatments for 2 months after her initial surgery. With her medical insurance she has to pay $7,500 out of pocket for her $60,000 partial mastectomy which is scheduled for August 3rd. The stress induced by her hefty bills is going to hinder her healing process greatly. She’s in the process of trying to get her house loan modified so that she will be able to keep her house and slowly attempt to pay off her medical bills.
