Home lost to Fort McMurray fire
Donation protected
On May 3, 2016, my sister, Christine, and her husband Mike, started their normal day. They were at work when the sky went really dark as the wildfire changed direction towards the city – home of the 80,000 residents in Fort McMurray. They struggled their way to pick up their daughter, Pia, from school then they tried to head home quickly to get their things, unfortunately, the road was already blocked off. They lost everything but they are very thankful that they have gotten out safe.
They are in Edmonton for now figuring out their next move. It is going to be a very difficult road ahead but with our support, we can help them transition back to a normal life. I am appealing for your kind heart to please help them get back to their feet. Any amount you can spare will help Tin, Mike and Pia put the pieces of their lives back together.
Thank you very much.
