Jenn's Kidney Fund

Hello friends! My name is Theresa Bui but most of you know me as MaiLinh. I am creating this GoFundMe account to help out my friends Jennifer and Thanh Huynh. Just like me, alot of you love Jennifer and Thanh and want to help them out in any way you can. Many of you know our friend Jennifer Huynh has had kidney issues for over 7 years now. Jenn was a dental hygienist and was let go due to her illness and has be unemployed for many years now. In 2013, Jenn received a kidney transplant and was so blessed by many of you who donated money to help Jenn and Thanh financially absorb some of the cost of the trip. Unfortunately due to complications during and after the surgery, Jenn almost lost her life and ended up being bedridden in the hospital for 7 weeks and in the end the kidney didn’t work. Not very long after the transplant, Thanh lost his job at Spirit Aerosystems due to himself getting sick. Due to Jenn's illness, It was difficult for Thanh to get a job. Then a blessing came a few weeks ago when Thanh recently got employed again. So we thought; then he was unfairly terminated on his day off, so financially it has been very difficult for Jenn and Thanh.

On May 5th 2016, Jenn got a call for a second kidney transplant and the surgery has been optimistic. As of this weekend, the kidney is a little sluggish but the doctors hope it will “wake up” and start producing more urine soon. Even if/when the kidney starts working, Jenn will still be in recover for weeks/months and will be limited in what she can do. She will not be able to find a job and work immediately so their financial situation will depend on how quickly Thanh can find employment.  

Due to their financial situation, I’m hoping that many of you can help them out with the cost of this kidney transplant. The money will help them out to pay for anything ranging from transportation, living, medical bills, food, rent, utilities, and medicine. Together we can make a difference in the life of this couple who has made a difference in so many others lives!
