Sheree Boyer...
Spende geschützt
As most of you already know Sheree Boyer has been in ICU at Providence Hospital since giving birth on April 18, 2016. She had the baby by cesarean section and she started feeling bad later in the day. Her blood pressure dropped really low and they had to give her some blood. The doctors had moved her to ICU with the intention of keeping a closer eye on her because of her blood pressure. While they were in the process of getting her settled in ICU she went into cardiac arrest. They got her back and then about 1 to 2 hours later she went into cardiac arrest a second time. The doctor came out and said she only had 2 pints of blood in her body and they had to do an emergency surgery to find out where the bleeding was coming from. They found that the bleeding was coming from her incision from the cesarean section. She developed DIC which is a condition where your blood doesn’t clot like it’s supposed to. Due to her losing so much blood and her heart stopping her organs shut down. She had to receive several pints of blood everyday for about a week straight and they started dialysis because her kidneys weren’t working, she was having seizures and her liver wasn’t working like it should. After a couple of weeks of being unresponsive in ICU they did some MRI’s. The results of the MRI’s showed that she had irreversible brain damage and even if she did ever wake up she would always be in a vegetative state. We know that even though her organs are starting to work like they should and the DIC is no longer an issue that Sheree would not want to live this way. So we as her family are respecting her wishes and have made the extremely hard decision to let her go and be in peace with her daddy in heaven. Everything was supposed to happen on Friday, May 6th but that didn’t happen. She was appointed a Guardian ad Litem by the state because she doesn’t have a husband or any grown children to make decisions for her. The guardian had to have all the doctors sign papers to present to the judge in order for us to let her go. It wasn’t possible to have everything done on Friday so we are having a hearing on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 so the judge can sign off on the petition and allow the Guardian ad Litem to carry out the family’s wishes. She doesn’t have any insurance so we will have the burden of making the arrangements to lay her to rest. This is where we are asking that if you can to please give what you can and if anyone doesn’t want to donate online then once everything is decided and scheduled, donations can be made directly to the funeral home. We are planning on using Serenity Funeral Home but we have been told that no money can be sent in to the funeral home until Sheree is no longer with us and we start the arrangements. We sincerely appreciate any help you may be able to give. Thanks everyone so much for all of your prayers and support. Please share this post with all of your friends.
