Cusco, Peru

This July I have the opportunity to go to Cusco, Peru for two weeks to work alongside native healthcare professionals within local health clinics. It has been a goal of mine to go somewhere completely alone and discover life without the comfort of others from my home.
I believe that I can grow stronger as a person and also in my future career through this adventure.
I recently completed my sophomore year at the College of Charleston, majoring in public health, with my ultimate goal of becoming a nurse. While in Cusco I want to fully take advantage of helping others, but I also want to better myself by becoming more independent, experiencing another culture and lifestyle.
