On Sunday May 1st 2016 the Helms family came home to see that it had been burnt down while Tony(father) was attending a show his son( Matthew) was performing in and Becky( mother) was leaving at the airport the same day. The fire spreaded up into the top floor and completely destroyed the entire floor with all the clothes , shoes ,art work, furniture,treasured work related possessions and paper work that can never be replaced. Firefighters pumped over 30,000 gallons of water which cause the upstairs floor to collapse into the dining room. The dining room,living room and kitchen were flooded by a 5 ft wall of water and 3 ft of wall of debris taking with it everything in the rooms. Later in the week we were told that now our entire home and anything salvageable is contaminated with asbestos exposure. All our furniture,clothing, personal records , family pictures and over 10 years of saved hard work had been taken away from us and now unable to re-nter our own home and only with the clothes on our back are having to restart our lives from scratch with nothing and currently living from hotel to hotel. We are desperately praying for a miracle in our lives to come back from this tragedy. We are hoping anyone can help us out in this time of need.
