As many of you may know Ronnie was diagnosed in January 2014 with "Extensive Small Cell Lung Cancer" with bone metastasis - sadly it was inoperable and there is no cure for him, the oncologist initially had given him 9 months to a year to live with the chemo treatments, he has obviously surpassed that prognosis, it has been over 2 years since he was first diagnosed. On Thursday May 5, 2016 the oncologist shared that the chemo isn't working, in fact the cancer is progressing in both lungs and his bones. Sadly all treatment has stopped and Ronnie will be going into comfort care or hospice very soon.
Ronnie and his family could really use prayers and the financial support of their family, friends and community at this very difficult time.
The oncologist has said that he may only have weeks left maybe a month, he hopes longer but with the way the cancer is progressing it does not look like to much more than that.
After getting together this past weekend Pete and I, John Kocina, Tom Pikal and Tom Jenny all discussed what could we do to help our friends Ronnie and Cindy and their family. Go Fund Me came up and here we go!
