Help Kaila beat Lyme Disease

Hi Everyone
My name is Doris and I am raising money for my best friend Kaila. She was recently diagnosed with Lyme disease as well as multiple co-infections. She is one of the strongest people I know, and she has been my rock through so many ups and downs. Now she needs my help, and this is one major thing I can help her with.

Last year Kaila lost her voice. She thought she had a cold as anyone would, but it lasted for a couple weeks so she decided to go to her doctor and was told it was probably laryngitis. Soon after that she got shingles. This was only the start of her health problems. Kaila went back to the doctor and received the medicine needed and was sent on her way. The shingles eventually went away but her voice did not come back. By the winter she got shingles for the second time in less than 6 months. Still with no voice she was sent to an ENT. Who immediately sent her to a specialist in Edmonton who did a scope and did not see any damage, so she was told to rest her voice. By about mid-January Kaila’s skin issues started. She was exceedingly itchy all the time. Nothing gave her relief. She was told it was everything from a stress rash/ hives to various skin infections. She saw both her family doctor about this as well as a dermatologist who gave her multiple antibiotic lotions, allergy pills and sleeping pills which did not help.

At this point Kaila knew something was not right. She asked time and time again for blood tests just so she could get some answers and was denied. After almost a full year of looking for help from various doctors, chiropractors, dermatologists and Chinese medicine specialists, she finally heard of a naturopath in Grande Prairie through a friend of a friend who was willing and able to help. The naturopath concluded that she most likely had Lyme disease from the sounds of her symptoms

Kaila was put on a very strict diet as well as a huge number of pills and vitamins. She finally was able to get the much-needed blood work done. She had 6 vials of blood taken that was so thick it clogged the IV catheter tubes 3 times. This was then sent to Germany for analysis as there is no accurate test in Canada for tick borne or illnesses.

The results came back. The answers she so desperately needed were devasting to hear. Kaila tested positive for Lyme Borreliosis, Bartonella, Rickettsia Akar and Morgellons. Her cells are completely overrun with infections and it has started to affect her central nervous system. She does not have a healthy cell in her body. Her immune system has been decimated to the point that even the round of very intense antibiotics that usually are prescribed for these infections would not help her body heal. As hopeless as this all seems she still stays positive for her family, her 3 kids and her husband.

The reason we are raising money is to get her a spot in the Envita Clinic in Arizona. This clinic is world renown for cases just like hers and has many success stories with its 6-week program for advanced Lyme disease and the multiple co-infections. We are running on borrowed time as the infections have gone completely untreated for so long. Please help us Raise the much needed $302,000 as this clinic is not covered under any benefits, And help to get Kaila the treatment she needs and deserves so she can get back to being the mom and wife she so desperately wants to be again.
