My name is Forest, and I teach English Language Arts at a title 1 school. Many of the students have lived in the small rural town of and hardly seen beyond the county line. I feel the inspiration that cultural exchange can provide to be invaluable, and would especially be a privilege for the students I serve.
Please help us raise money to provide an opportunity for a student to participate in a cultural exchange in a developing country.
The money we raise will pay for a student's travel expenses, and to help fund a project of choice by a local group in the destination.
We plan to help a student travel in the summer of 2017, and our objective is to raise $1000 by May, 2017.
I am personally passionate about this project because cultural exchange has given me invaluable ways to see the world, express myself, and find meaning in life.
