I am reaching out to you to see if there's anyone that would like to help me support a friend of mine. Amanda is going through some rough times. A year ago, in June, she was mauled by a neighbors dog while on her back porch and her nose was torn off of her face. She has undergone several major surgeries (about every two months), the most recent was only a few days ago. In addition to the viscous dog attack, Amanda has made the very difficult, scary yet admirable decision to flee an abusive and dangerous relationship with her husband. She recently obtained an Emergency Military Protective Order for her and her three young children that she shares with her husband. In return he filed an emergency custody hearing that ruled in her favor!! This is just the beginning of a long and hard battle, legally, for the wellbeing of her and her three babies. While Amanda has a roof over her head at this time, she is now caring for her 3 children, on her own with no job and trying to recover from yet another surgery. She has zero income at the moment. I would like to give anyone else that would be interested in contributing, the opportunity to help support her and the kiddos to not only pull through the next few weeks but to keep fighting in court and allow her to be back home with family and friends.
