Super Mario 64 Speed Run for CCFA!

Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, together called inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) are chronic, incurable autoimmune diseases that affect 1.6 million people in America. They primary strike young people: most patients are between 15 and 30 when they're diagnosed. I was 14.
The Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America is seeking cures and new treatments for IBD. I wanted to find a fun way to fundraise for the CCFA! A lot of people run marathons, but I'm not athletic. What I can marathon, though, is a video game!

On Saturday, May 28, I'm going to do a speed run of Super Mario 64, a beloved Nintendo 64 game from my childhood. I'm going to see how many of the 120 stars I can get in 12 hours. And I'm asking for people to pledge money per star! Fill out the Google form linked below to make your pledges. I'll also livestream the event on Twitch if you want to watch parts of my speed run, look for that link below too.

All proceeds go straight to the CCFA.

FAQ:
Q: How much should I pledge per star?
A: Whatever you can spare! No pledge is too small. There are 120 stars, so if you pledge $1 per star, keep in mind your donation will be, at maximum, $120.

Q: Isn't the world record speed run for this game only 2 hours?
A: Yep, but that was done by somebody who literally speed runs this particular game as his day job. I am not that good. 120 stars in 12 hours still requires me to get a star at least every 6 minutes and that sounds pretty fast to me. I actually have no idea how well I'll do.

Q: Can I just ignore all this Mario nonsense and donate $20 to the cause now?
A: Absolutely.

Q: How will I know how many stars you got if I don't watch your livestream?
A: If you fill out the Google form to pledge money, it asks for your email address, and I will email you after the event to tell you how many stars I got. You will not get any spam from me.

Let me know if you have any other questions that aren't covered above!
