Hi everyone my name is Susan just today my 80 year old mother tested positive for covid and I had to push for her to be hospitalized as she was so weak and couldn’t even stand or walk and has other health issues. My oldest son David tested positive a couple of weeks ago and has had to self isolate at a hotel to protect my mom but unfortunately she caught it anyways. He has been at a hotel for 2 weeks and was told Monday he has to quarantine for another two weeks. A hotel for a month plus food and necessities has added up unplanned expenses. I had to be taken off of work when my son tested positive and now again that my mom has tested positive and I can’t even be tested until Monday which means I won’t be able to return to work the earliest Wednesday of next week that’s if my test comes back negative. I’ve only worked at CRMC for a little over 6 months so I don’t even have the paid time off accrued to pay for the days I will be off of work. I’m asking for any help to get through this time of need.
