My Cousin Pat just survived the worst and fastest moving fire in California history.....the Campfire in Paradise, CA.   She left her home behind with only the clothes on her back and her 3 dogs and....jumped in her vehicle headed to safety. She only got 2 blocks from her home where she had to hunker down in a parking lot with 100 other folks
 for 7 hours. The fire was burning all around her. Thank God she is in a safe location now but may have to evacuate again.  That was the news as of today 11/10/18.  The fire is out of control. 

It will be weeks or months before she finds out if insurance will help her recover some of what was lost. She lived in her home for 26 years. If you can contribute to help her buy just some of the essentials, your donation will be so appreciated. She lost everything! She needs clothes, supplies for her dogs, her medicine and a temporary apartment. 

Our Cousin Pat has a big heart.  She has helped so many people in her own way.  She is a retired RN and has always supported her own extended family when they needed help. 

As a family, we thank you all for helping her in this very troubled time in her life. She is so humbled by the love and prayers sent to her from family and friends. I am her Cousin Carol and I live in Florida. This fund will be set for her so she can withdraw from it as needed.

UPDATE:  11/10/18: Pat and her friends have been ordered to evacuate Oroville. She is now on her way 100 miles south to Turlock.  Keep her in your thoughts for a safe journey as she tries to escape this ravaging fire.

Update 11/11/18: Pat is on her way to Laguna Hills to be with her son and family for a short time.
