Johnson's Repair Fund

Only a month after closing on our very first home, we were affected by the recent flood here in Houston. On April 18th, we woke up to the flood waters coming into our home at a very rapid pace. It rose to more than 1 1/2 ft and above our electrical sockets.

Through the windows of our flooding home, we watched as the water rose up to our car's window and then above the hood. It was even more devastating knowing that we will be making our very last payment in 2 weeks on this car. Our other car was in the garage, but still managed to have flood water up to our kids car seats.

Due to the very recent purchase of our new home, We were not yet able to purchase flood insurance and will have to financially repair everything on our own. This will include sheet rock and insulation, cabinets, flooring, eventually furniture, and possibly 2 cars.

With humble hearts we are asking for financial help to build our home back up. Anything you feel led to give will be a great help. We appreciate all of your help and prayers from the bottom of our hearts. This has been a very devastating week, however we do stay strong know there is a God who loves us and looks after us.
