I am not one to ever ask for help, but we're at a crossroads and honestly desperate.

Our sweet girl, Hazel, is going to need emergency back surgery in the morning. She is currently being hospitalized at the Partner Veterinary Clinic in Frederick. If you've followed our journey with her, you know she's suffered from IVDD in the past and until last Saturday we have managed it with medication, rest, care, and love. Yesterday, she was in extreme pain which wasn't being touched by her medication, and today her back legs started to give out.

Surgery has a 90% success rate of her being able to live a normal, pain-free life, where she can walk, run, and be the happy, best girl she is. My baby is only 5 and deserves all the care she can get... but it's insanely expensive.

Just for today and the hospitalization, our bill was $3,400. Surgery will be close to $10,000, which we just don't have.

If we don't do surgery, she will live in constant pain, so that would leave us with the only other heartbreaking option...

I know everyone is struggling, but if you can help even a little I beg of you. I can't let my best friend go because of money, that will kill me too. I truly appreciate you all.
