Mersad Alkaz's GBS medicine fund.

hello fellow friends, collegues and kind strangers, my name is Haris Muslija, i am a bosnian born canadian and i need to raise $50,000 for medical treatment. My good cousin Mersad from my home country of Bosnia has fell ill with a crippling autoimmune disorder known as guillian-barre syndrome. He fell ill last week, and has become almost entirey paralyzed. GBS is a disorder which causes ones own white blood cells to start attacking the nerves in the body eventually paralyzing completely. He was always the cousin that was there for me, and didnt mind spending time with me when i was young, i had shared many amazing moments with this beautiful human being. Its now my turn to try and help him any way that i can, the reason i ask for $50,000 is because GBS is a very rare condition which can only be treated with Plasma echange, or immunoglobulin therapy. Bosnia not being the most developed of countries, means that my cousin doesn't have the money sufficient enough to pay for treatment (roughly $1000 a day) and its needed as soon as possible. My sister is back home in bosnia, and she is doing all she can to help raise money. Our family here is giving all we can as well, but we need help from our fellow citizens, any donations big or small are welcomed and aprreciated greatly. Help me help my cousin at another chance at life, so he can see his wife and his future baby, and so i can again laugh with him one day. I am so thankful to be in canada where i dont ever have to worry about my healthcare. It would mean the world to me if we could show him the compassion we canadians have by giving him another chance at life, and hopefully that money isnt more important than life.
