Children of Christopher Wright Support Fund

Christopher (Chris) Michael Wright, 40, of Arlington Heights, left our lives but not our hearts on Thursday, July 23, 2020. Chris was born on June 20, 1980 to Bernard (Barney) and Donna (Nacht) Wright. He married his high school sweetheart, Melissa Ann Braus, on May 17, 2008 and shared children, Olivia Lena Wright and William Charles Wright. He is survived by his wife, Melissa Wright, daughter, Olivia Wright, son, William Wright; parents, Bernard (Barney) and Donna Wright; brother, Kyle Wright (Cassie); grandparents, Richard and Dora Nacht, and Shirley Wright; parent-in-laws, Michael and Carole Braus; sibling-in-laws, Joshua (Josh) Braus (Carla), Jennifer Braus (Brian); and nephews, Joshua Braus, Alexander Braus, Blake Braus, Paxson Wright, and Parker Wright; Aunt Debbie Lewandowski (Tom); cousins Shawn Lewandowski (Stephanie) and Sarah Barry (Sean). He is preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Bernard Wright. Chris shared his love of creativity through building, carpentry, cooking and baking. He enjoyed outdoor activities with his children including bike rides, trampoline, and playing superheroes. He was often known to lend a hand and assist friends and family with home projects. More than anything, he was a loving husband and father, that adored his family. Visitation will be Monday, July 27, 3-8pm, at Friedrichs Funeral Home in Mount prospect, IL. Funeral and interment will be held privately for immediate family members and those closest to Chris. The family appreciates your understanding as we navigate this difficult time during COVID-19. Masks should be worn at all times while in the building and at the cemetery. A limit of 50 people will be allowed in at one time. Your presence is very much appreciated, but please be mindful of the current state of COVID-19 and the impact it may have on those around us.
