Andrew Higgins excavator accident, medical bills
Donation protected
On June 25 our very good friend Andrew Higgins had his legs severely crushed and injured by an excavator. In the backwoods of Maine he waited a half hour for the ambulance to get him and then underwent a grueling 45 minute ride to the hospital in Portsmouth, NH where he spent the next 3 weeks in the hospital having multiple procedures and 10 surgeries. He had to go through all this alone thanks to COVID restrictions! Not even his wife could see him. Now he’s home for about 2 weeks having wound care and awaiting skin graft surgeries.
If you’ve ever met Andy you know this is killing him not to be outside working hard like he always does. He’s always the first person to help friends, family, his church and even strangers he sees in need. If you’ve met him he’s probably helped you with something. Now we have an opportunity to do something nice for him. We’re just looking to help with some of the high medical bills and any other costs associated with the accident. Thank you for your help, Sarah and Don Wakeman
