Expenses for Marisol Marin

Hi, I’m fundraising for my 8 year old baby sister Marisol Marin. She is the youngest of 10! She is a twin and she spends most of her time with her sister; they’re inseparable best friends! Marisol is so sweet, lovable & she gets along with everyone she meets. A week ago today, we took her to the hospital because she had been complaining that she had severe pain in her side. She was transported to Children’s Mercy in Kansas City, Missouri after they found a very large mass on her kidney. She has recently been diagnosed with Wilms Tumor Stage III (or Nephroblastoma) which is a rare kidney cancer in children. She will need to go up to Kansas City, Missouri for chemotherapy every week at the Children’s Mercy Hospital (2 hour drive) for the next 8 to 10 months. She is receiving chemo in attempt to shrink her tumor because currently it is too big & dangerous to proceed with the surgery to remove the affected kidney as it will likely leave her with liver disease. Any funds donated will be used to cover the cost of transportation, food, & anything else relating to Marisol’s battle against cancer. Anything helps & is greatly appreciated.
