The Boys & Girls Club of Eden - Lake Shore has been a lifeline for our community's youth for 23 years, providing a safe, fun, and enriching environment after school and during the summer. We offer vital programs that focus on education, work readiness, healthy lifestyles, character development, and good citizenship. From after-school tutoring and mentorship to life skills workshops and summer camps, we're dedicated to helping young people reach their full potential.
Currently, we are facing an urgent financial crisis that threatens our ability to continue these essential services. Due to obstacles like unexpected funding cuts, inflation, rising utility expenses, facility upgrades, and staffing costs, we are risk of drastically reducing services or even closing our doors. If that happens, the young people in the Eden and Lake Shore communities will lose a critical source of support.
What Your Donation Will Do:

- Keep our doors open and our programs running.
- Support our dedicated staff who work tirelessly for our kids.
- Ensure that our community's youth have a safe place to learn, grow, and thrive.
Our Impact:
Every year, we serve hundreds of local youth. Our programs provide a positive alternative to being unsupervised, and we strive to make a lasting difference. Some highlights include:
- Some members need extra social support. Our staff works with parents, therapists and other interventionalists to make sure the members have all the support they need while at the Club.
- When our high school staff want to learn more about the business side of the nonprofit, our executive staff takes the time out to explain business terms and reasoning
- Parents, who were past members, are now starting to send their children to the Club
- Over 75% of our Youth staff are past members, who want to come back and make an impact in their community
- The Club draws members from different school buildings, fostering meaningful relationships between peers who might otherwise never connect, and preparing them for their shared middle school experience
- The Club is more than a place to send kids after school, not a daycare, it is where friendships are fostered, social skills are learned, unique opportunities offered, and memories are made.
