23 24 Sigma Chi Eta Phi Campaign

It is time for our annual campaign. In the past few years we have raised over $100k to support our chapter and promote alumni fellowship. We have awarded scholarships to undergraduates and paid for homecoming and alumni weekend tailgating and events. We have also paid for things for the chapter house. We will continue to do these things. I will also continue to have campaign swag for donors with a target donation of $125 or more.
This year I am hoping to raise a little more money than usual for something special so I am hopeful that you will consider supporting this. When our new house was built, part of the plans included a free standing outdoor fireplace near the pavilion. The preliminary plans have been hanging in the house for years but the original budget did not allow this to happen. am hoping to make this happen this year. We are looking at a big brick fireplace and chimney with brick storage for wood on either side. We plan to have lighted letters in it and it will be next to the pavilion on the parking lot side. The fire will face the rest of the row as to be visible when driving around Fraternity Circle. I have saved some funds from past campaigns so if we meet this target I think we can get it done. It’s a great opportunity to leave a permanent legacy at house to show our support. It also is one more thing that makes our house the nicest one in campus. Jim Bradsher has been discussing it with Herb Reeves and was given verbal approval. As soon as we have written approval we would like to proceed. I know that we can make it happen.if for any reason. The University does not allow it, I will hold funds to make some improvements at the house. Let’s do this. In Hoc
