Tim Ingram's Medical Bills

As most of you know, my dad was scheduled for knee replacement surgery February 8th. The doctors said that the surgery went very well, everything was good, and that he would begin therapy the next day. 24 hours had not even gone by when my dad had a heart attack and was admitted to ICU. He stayed in ICU for four days, until he was stable enough to go to a regular room.

He then spent 28 days at the rehab facility in Lineville learning how to walk again. It seemed like everything was great when he was able to go home. He could walk by himself and get around very well. It wasn't but only a week later that he was admitted yet again to the hospital for over a week due to a serious infection. During this time he was hooked to an antibiotic IV 24/7, taking all kinds of medicine, and also hooked to a wound drain.

They finally let him go home with the drain, nurse home visits everyday, and a total of 26 kinds of medicine to take a day. All of this was apparently not enough because yesterday he was told he needed to complete AT LEAST six weeks in the infectious disease ward at RMC. They told him that if he did not go he could lose his leg completely. There was hint of the possibility of another major surgery. This hit our family hard as we had thought that our prayers had been answered and we were on the way to being okay again.

I have never been one to hold my hand out or ask for financial help, but as the bills from these unfortunate and unexpected events are coming in, they are piling up in the tens of thousands of dollars. Even with him having two insurances, they only pay so much and some they don't even cover at all.

I am first and foremost asking for your prayers. I wholeheartedly believe in the power of prayer and know that my family needs them. Secondly, I am asking for any donations that you may feel led to give. Whether it be $5 or $50, every little bit will go straight towards doctor bills and be a huge blessing to our family.
