Please help save Eddy

Eddy is not just a dog, he is a therapy dog, 1/2 of the Patriotic Pups twins who has given so much love and comfort to our U.S. Combat wounded, ill and injured service members & veterans with his sister Hazel. This handsome loving Ridgeback is in the speciality hospital having major surgery today to remove a mass that is along his spine pushing on his spinal cord leaving him with poor use of his back legs. The doctors after extensive X-ray and MRI feel they can remove the majority of the mass freeing up the spine giving him quality and quantity life! The mass may have cancer cells in it which would require follow up radiation. His owner is the founder of the American Soldier Network charity and one of my dearest friends. I know for a fact she has not taken a paycheck since 2007 pouring everything into the charity. This surgery and the tests to date are upward of $7,000 and anything we can do to help give back to Eddy and his Mama for these medical bills I know will be a tremendous help. We have about 3 weeks (May 27th) to get all this together. It seems fitting when it is Memorial weekend to be supporting Eddy. I love this family and these amazing dogs and can't sit by without trying to offer them some relief and support. Please help me help them!
