Brain Education Leadership Training

Hello Everyone,
My name is Diane S. Englehardt. I am a teacher, reading specialist, special education teacher and a licensed clinical social worker. I am truly passionate about helping children to learn at their full potential, and based on their learning styles. In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, I am seeking your support to help me attend a summer program – Brain Education Leadership Training. The training will provide me the opportunity to become a Brain Education Instructor. Brain Education assists students with improving focus and memory, managing stress and text anxiety, increasing productivity and learning efficiency, building confidence and positive attitude, and incorporating mindfulness and movement. I have had the wonderful opportunity to practice and learn about yoga, mindfulness and meditation through the Tao Healing Center in Chandler. I have been truly blessed to learn how to improve my own physical and mental health. I would love to share what I have learned, and will learn through the Brain Education Training. I will learn how to teach the Brain Education for Enhanced Learning course, which includes a 30 week curriculum. I am so excited to have the opportunity to learn and share with my students, fellow teachers, colleagues, and the Tao community. The curriculum will cover:
-Brain Structure and functions
-The science behind brain education
-Brain Philosophy
-Teaching practice and presentation strategies
-Heightened Brain Sensitizing Training
My goal is to teach these classes at the Tao Healing Center in Chandler and at the school I teach at. I am currently teaching at a K-8 Title 1 school, where 61% of our students participate in free/reduced priced meals, and the student mobility rate is 27%.
I am so excited that I will be able to integrate these skills into my daily teaching to support children on how to read! In order for children to be ready to read they need to by physical, emotional, and developmental ready. “Brain Education is an innovative combination of physical, emotional, and cognitive exercises that infuse the best of neuroscience and Eastern mind-body training methods to tap into our infinite brain potential.” This program will help me to help my students by improving their focus, increasing their confidence, improving their memory, supporting their creativity and supporting their emotional wellness and overall health and success!!!
The costs of the course: Dates: June 19-25, 2016
Program Tuition- $3900.00
Materials- $120.00
Administration Fee- $30
Lodging and Meals at Sedona Mago Retreat Center $600.00
