On May 4th, 2016, Taylor Cope passed away tragically and suddenly. Taylor leaves behind his wife, Annii, who is expecting the birth of their first child this August. Taylor was a man of God, strong of faith, and beloved by not only family and friends, but also by their greater community. He will be missed dearly by all who were blessed to have known him in life, however briefly.
Taylor, by all accounts, was a tender and kind-hearted man who loved and adored his wife. Annii and Taylor were just beginning their life journey together, having married on the 15th of August, 2015, and were anticipating the addition of a daughter to their family this August. Taylor passed away suddenly from unpredictable complications from an injury he sustained while serving in the National Guard. It is a travesty that he has been taken from his family too soon.
Annii and Taylor were funneling all of their extra income into preparing for the birth of their child, and have not savings. Taylor had also not yet established a life insurance policy. The Cope Family is in dire need of assistance from their friends near and far. All funds donated will be given directly to Annii to help offset funeral costs and to help Annii with whatever needs she may have in the months to come.
As one of Annii's high school teachers, I found beauty in her quiet strength and faith in the Lord. She was an inspiration to me then, and has continued to be a light of faithfulness and love throughout the years. She has shown countless others the love of Christ, always with a smile and a joyful heart. Let us now do what we can through prayer and financial assistance to return that love and light to her and to the rest of the Cope and Donnert families as they grieve the loss of this young husband, father, son, brother, and friend.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Cope Family.
