Randal Platt Cancer Treatment

About a month ago, my little brother (26) called my Stepmom Melissa complaining of a significant pain in his back. Being he is normally a pretty tough kid she was concerned and brought him to see a doctor right away. The doctor suggested he go in for a CAT scan.
Upon reviewing the MRI they found that Randal has not one but two masses, one being testicular and the other was in his abdomen. Having found masses in two places, they diagnosed Randal with Stage 2 Testicular Cancer on April 5th.
They have taken the time to decide the best treatment plan for Randal, Chemotherapy and Surgery if need be. He is going to be treated at Moffitt Cancer Center, one of the best facilities in the country. We know he's strong and will pull through as a survivor!
In this time that Randal will be recieving treatment he will have to be displaced from his home, staying closer to Moffitt which is about an hour and forty minutes from him. This will mean him losing out on work, cost him fuel both ways and he will also need lodging.
In addition to those expenses he's a young business owner, having considered himself to be healthy and the price of insurance being very high he went without. THis means our family will incur all expenses of his treatment.
While we will all do EVERYTHING we can to make this time as easy as possible for him it would be of great relief on my Dad and Stepmom to have some extra help affording all of the costs associated with Randal's treatment.
