Diane's Road to Recovery

Deciding to start this page came from the love of Diane's many friends and family.  We are raising funds for our Best Friend Diane. Diane is battling Breast Cancer right now. She went for a routine Mamo in October and was diagnosed Dec. 7th with Breast Cancer. With the support of her doctors, family and friends she decided to have a double Mastecomy on Jan 25th. After the surgery it was determined that she in fact had cancer in the other breast as well. She started Chemo on Feb. 25th and will not be finished until July 8th. She has 3 children ages 23, 21 and 18. Right now her husband is not working due to a strike in the company. Currently they have no income and no health benefits for her husband and children.
The money raised on this site will be used to ease some of the financial stress during this difficult time and assist them with medical bills and household expenses over this year of treatment. In addition to Diane not being able to work her husband, children,  Mother and Mother in law and sisters have been taking care of the household while providing support and love to Diane.
Those of you who know Diane, know she is the kind of person everyone can count on. She has been their for many of us during difficult times. Diane gives generously of her time and is the first to give support to others in need. Diane is a loving and dedicated daughter, sister, aunt, mother, wife and friend. Who always puts family and friends first. Diane has been apart of the North Babylon/West Islip communities for many years. She has coached her daughters in soccer since they were very young. She also gives back to her community by training/coaching soccer for young children.
Now Diane needs us and that is why we are reaching out to her friends/family to help raise money for her medical needs.
Any amount  that you can donate will help tremendously and will be greatly appreciated.
Our hope is that with every donation, we are able to help alleviate undo worry and stress allowing Diane and her family to focus on winning this fight against Breast Cancer.
