Flood Relief

A fellow soldier is currently deployed, and while he's away serving our country, his family back home is facing a tough situation. A recent flood filled their home with knee-deep water, causing significant structural damage and property loss.

This has been the family home for over five years. As a true family home, his parents, his sister, nephew, and their two dogs all live there. The flood ruined many of their belongings—childhood keepsakes, antique furniture, and many other cherished belongings. Some of these things can be replaced, but many were one-of-a-kind memories that are now gone.

Deployment brings with it so many challenges. However, when your family is struggling with such a catastrophe it is significantly harder knowing that one’s service prevents you from being there to help.

His fellow soldiers are raising funds to help them begin the cleanup and recovery process. Every contribution, no matter how small, will help them get back on their feet. If you’re not in a place to donate, a simple share goes a long way.
