Hello to all reading,
On February 16th, my daughter and her children's lives were irrevocably changed. A fire ripped through their home, leaving them with nothing but the clothes on their backs. My daughter was not home at the time the fire broke out. My grandson, Wyatt, was at home watching his younger siblings when the fire broke out. Wyatt was able to safely get himself and his younger two siblings out of the home without any injury. Wyatt was also able to save all of their animals. As they sat outside and my daughter returned, they watched in horror as the flames consumed their home and everything they owned. All of the children's toys, all their clothing, family photos, cherished memories, and the place they call home.
Thankfully, they are all safe, but they have lost everything. The fire has completely destroyed their once forever home. The fire took out all of the attic, causing the roof to collapse into their kitchen. The attic has also collapsed into the basement. The home is a total loss. My daughter and grandchildren have nothing left. They are now faced with the daunting task of trying to rebuild their lives from the ground up.
They are currently staying in a motel but can only stay until tomorrow due to the ski jump tournaments this weekend. They urgently need help. My daughter is a single mom to 5 kids.
Currently, they are looking for temporary housing, clothing for everyone, basic necessities, food and daily expenses, and with hope trying to rebuild their lives and home. They are a family of 6, single parent, and this tragedy has left them completely devastated. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in helping them get back on their feet. They are overwhelmed with the outpouring of love and support they have received and are incredibly grateful for any help you can provide. Your kindness and generosity will help them with rebuilding their lives and find hope in this devastating loss. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!
