Danita's courageous battle with triple negative breast cancer came to an unfortunate end on March 28, 2024. Her passing has deeply impacted the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
In addition to being a devoted mother to Bradford and his wife Diana, and a remarkable sister to Jonathan, Danita was an exceptional advocate for education, equity, and hockey.
Her absence has created a void that will be felt by many. During her battle with breast cancer, Danita became an inspiration to many. Her strength, resilience, and unwavering positivity touched the lives of countless individuals.
