Michelle Waelty's Cancer Fund
Donation protected
My name is Vickie Ramsey, my daughter is Michelle Waelty. Michelle was born in Red Bluff, CA and has lived there her entire life. She is a devoted wife of Robert Waelty and mother of two grown children, Jessee and Madison Waelty. I am setting up this account in an attempt to help her with an onslaught of medical bills that are already beginning to mount up.
On April 12th, 2016, our family received the awful news that Michelle's grandfather had passed away. For Michelle and her family, this was not the only bad news that they would receive that day. She found out on that same horrible day that she has a very aggressive form of breast cancer, and would be needing a double mastectomy as well as chemotherapy and radiation.
After running more tests and scans, the oncologists determined that the cancer was at stage 3 and had already spread to nearby lymph nodes. On Tuesday, April 26th, both of her breasts were removed along with multiple lymph nodes, several of which were already cancerous.
Even with insurance, the share of cost for Michelle’s surgery and subsequent treatments is going to be astronomical.
I have personally witnessed the Red Bluff and surrounding communities come together to help countless families overcome insurmountable odds. This community is amazing, with its caring, generosity, and support; and it is my hope that everyone in this community will come together to help support one of the most important people in my life and the lives of my grandkids. Please give Michelle whatever you can. If you can’t donate, please share the link to this fund with anyone and everyone you can. This family needs to be focused on health and healing, not on how they’re going to pay these bills.
Thank you, Red Bluff and surrounding communities, for being so generous and kind and for helping shrink my daughters worries so she can focus on shrinking her cancer until it’s ugly presence is dead and gone.
