I want to just thank everyone for taking the time of thinking of Paislee right now!
My name is Dezie, and I started this GoFundMe for Courtney, Paislee and her family during this difficult time. Now, I may not know this family as well as each of you, but my heart just hurt so much for them when I saw the news of Paislee's diagnosis. So I decided to start this GoFundMe to ask each one of you to just take a minuite and read her story and pray for this sweet little girl!
I believe life takes a village to survive. People need people. You need best friends, family, neighbors and complete strangers to shape your life and make you grow. I know that no child should have to face cancer. Paislee should be wearing her big bows running around laughing and playing in Lousiana with her family and friends.
I can only image the rollercoaster of emotions that this family is going through right now and I just want to help and reach out to her village to ask each of you to be a branch of her unconditional love and support while she fights the biggest fight of her life.
In no way did Courtney or anyone ask me to do this, I just believe this is one of the many things we all can do to help surpport this family. Big or small, everything helps and I want to just say "THANK YOU". I set a goal of $5,000 to help Courtney with the cost of staying in Tennesee, medical bills or whatever they may need to help get through this.

Here is a little more from Courtney and Derrick!
First let Courtney and I begin with THANK YOU!!!! Thank you for your prayers, blessings, good lucks, and the many friends and family that have been such a support for Courtney, myself, Alyssa and Blaize. So lets start with our story our story of how Paislee began her fight...
Our day started as any other day Derrick goes to work and Courtney gets the kids to where they need to go. On this particular day this would be doctors appointments for the kids then off to school. Paislee goes to see her wonderful pediatrician Dr. West. Dr. West, along with a few other people have noticed that she was pale in color and also very tired. Let me rewind for a second and go back a week. Paislee had been feeling this way for the past few days and was initially diagnosed with having fluid in her ears which was resulting in a sinus infection. As usual we were prescribed cough meds and some sinus meds to get it under control. So fast forward back to May 2, 2016 when Paislee had to visit Dr. West. Paislee's visit was just suppose to be as normal as any other visit, however this was the day that will forever change our lives for the rest of our days. On this day is Paislee's 6th birthday, you know a cheerful day full of cupcakes, gifts, and whatever Paislee wanted to eat for dinner. But this time that wasn't the case. This day was the day we found out Paislee was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (aka. ALL). What....? No.... Not our Pai not today.... Today is her birthday.... So by this point you wondering is this how we reacted... The answer absolutely we did, we cried so much our eyes ran out of water. We cried till we couldn't cry anymore. We never cried in front of Paislee because we had to be tough for her, but she is the one that isn't crying. She isn't crying because she found out she has (ALL) she is crying because now she has to stay in the hospital for a while and get shots day in and day out and medicine day in and day out. She is upset because she misses home, she misses her Blaize and Alyssa. She misses all her family and friends. But she is strong, she is stronger than the average human being. Paislee has already showed us in so many ways how strong she is. Paislee is the toughest little girl by showing us that she has a huge heart and fighting this disease. We tell her each day keep fighting we are all right here with you and we aren't going anywhere.
So this is how Paislee's journey is going to begin. It goes in phases and this is how its laid out. We have to begin at St. Jude's in Memphis, Tenn.
1st Phase: Induction Phase
It last for 4-6 weeks and its called the induction phase. This Phase consist of getting a lot blood test ran, shots, spinal tap, bone marrow, blood transfusion, platelets and medical port inserted so that she can receive her meds and they can also get blood samples.
2nd Phase: Consolidation Phase
The phase will go for 5-6 weeks and with hopes can be done close to home. This will depends on how she reacts to the medication.
3rd Phase: Maintenance Phase
This phase goes for 120 weeks of outpatient treatment. This phase is what it says it is maintenance just making sure that all the treatments that was done before continues to be maintained and nothing catches us by surprise.
Please continue to prayer for our little Pai, as she begins her treatment and her long road back to be our healthy Pai, the survivor our hero and lets not forget her school mate Jillian who was also diagnosed with Cancer just days before.
