Lyons Family Fire Recovery

Sunday May 1st was our 1 year wedding anniversary. We celebrated and reflected on our lives and the move we had made to New Orleans this past July.

Monday night May 2nd around 8pm a fire broke out in our garage. Monique and I were able to put out the blaze before it spread to the entire home.

Unfortunately, the smoke completely filled both the first and second floors of our townhouse. Everything was compromised. The garage is blackened with sut. Serve Pro recommends it to be gutted. Imagine the smell of a wet smoldering campfire. That's what we are left with. No insurance, but we're physically okay. Our mental health is questionable at this point. We're still waiting on a cause from the fire department. At first they had decided arson / insurance fraud. That's until they found out we have no carrier. Then they came up with a half dozen other possibilities once the disclosure of lack of coverage. Loose batteries in a bag?

All Monique and I keep saying is at least we have each other.
