Help Brandy Beat Covid!
Donation protected
Brandy is a beautiful, strong, single mother of two children ages 13 and 6. If you've been seeing updates you know Brandy is very ill, I will list the timeline below. As we all know the world keeps turning even when we're going through a nightmare. Brandy is no longer receiving a paycheck. She is out of PTO, Emergency PTO, and Care Act money. While we will never give up hope that she will pull through, we must be realistic in acknowledging that the recovery will not be a short one. It is in that gut wrenching truth that we have made the decision to ask for your help. I know we are in unprecedented times and many will be unable to give monetarily but if you're able I know everyone would appreciate it immensely. We will continue updating and sharing what the funds are used for.
Brandy started feeling symptoms of Covid 19 on July 6th, she was running a high fever and experiencing bouts of delirium. She was admitted into the hospital soon after on July 8th and was moved to the makeshift covid ICU on the 11th. She was receiving oxygen and plasma transfusions. On the 14th things were starting to look up and she improved a lot. She was able to text and even send some selfies. On the 15th we got more good news, her oxygen levels were stable she was able to eat a little bit of food and we were anticipating her being moved out of the ICU. On the night of the 17th things took a turn and she was put back on a bi-pap machine. The 18th of July was one of the hardest days for her and our family. She was sedated and placed on an ECMO machine and on the morning of the 19th she was airlifted to Shand's hospital in Gainesville. She has been there as of writing this for 6 days. There haven't been very many updates besides that she's on a ventilator and an ECMO machine. We will continue to update you when we get them.
