My name is Bridget Pei, I used to be a student at Diamond Bar High School, I will be a student at Northwestern University, and I am a flute player!
A little bit about me: I've been playing for about 9 years, my favorite color is blue, I love dogs, oh and I dropped out of college last year to pursue music! So this means that much more to me.
I have been blessed with so many opportunities this past year, I cannot even count them all. Among them is the chance to be a part of the Boston University Tanglewood Institute Young Artist's Orchestra. I have been chosen to be one of the four flautists, and it has been such an amazing honor.
However, despite all of the blessings, there have been many rough patches as well. Money has been extremely tight, and I had decided to opt out of BUTI to instead work over the summer to save up for college (cause we all know how dang expensive that can be). But, my family and teachers talked me back into it, telling me that opportunites like this are not worth passing up.
It's a gamble that you have already read this far, but in case you have, I want you to know how much it will mean to me if you could help me out. ANY amount is appreciated, and I truly will be so grateful. I know that $5000 is so much to ask for, but I truly appreciate every penny that goes into this.
